The Environment

MK is able to supply any environmental information available regarding the products we sell. Many of the items found in this catalogue are marked with recycling information so that you can make the correct decisions about your waste disposal i.e. (1 PET) polyethylene, (5 PP) polypropylene, (6 PS) polystyrene, etc. We will make every effort to help you with any further information you may require. As main distributors for many major manufacturers, we are committed to improve continually our product range to incorporate as many environmentally friendly products as possible. The new 'BioWare' range of salad boxes and tumblers is a good example of a new environmentally friendly range already in our product portfolio (view the bioware products). The raw materials for many of the catering paper products we supply are from managed forests and utilise a chlorine free bleaching process. Some are also made from 100% recycled material or a mixture of virgin and recycled material. More detail is shown within the catalogue. More detailed information is available on request.

 

We strive to supply environmentally friendly chemical products wherever practical. Safety Data Sheets and further technical information and training are available for all cleaning systems supplied.
